Mindbook — abstract ink sketchbook

Mindbooks are sketchbooks of my thoughts. Alongside a diary, I process my thinking by drawing — the pictures are mostly abstract, often without names. I want to give every viewer, including myself, free scope for interpretation: there is no right or wrong.

The basic idea is “just getting started” — not planning every detail in advance, not knowing beforehand what will appear. I find that process exciting: while drawing I keep reorientating myself, as the whole work shifts slightly after every black line on the paper.
