Echoes in Space

Echoes in Space is an interactive sound installation that uses the phenomena of feedback, when a microphone comes close to a loudspeaker. The microphone is placed inside a pendulum. By swinging the pendulum over the speakers lying on the floor, the audience can create a soundscape for the pendulum which is normally purely visual. By changing the pendulum’s rope length, the audience can further influence the sound: The higher the pendulum the higher becomes the sound.
